Community College of Southern Nevada The Community College of Southern Nevada (CCSN) is a comprehensive educational institution within the University and Community College System of Nevada (UCCSN). Founded in 1971, the College serves diverse audiences in Southern Nevada through five educational areas: occupational training, university transfer preparation, continuing education, developmental education, and counseling and guidance.

University of Nevada Las Vegas UNLV has more than 22,000 students on a 335-acre campus; average class size is 30; largest lecture hall seats about 200; more than 700 full-time faculty.
UNLV has 180 undergraduate, master's, and doctoral degree programs. Academic Calendar: Two semesters (Fall & Spring) of approximately 16 weeks each. Three summer sessions are held from May through August. Students can participate in more than 20 kinds of intramural sports or 16 different sports at the NCAA / Division I intercollegiate level.
